Children & FamiliesChildren of every age - including babies and toddlers - are welcome in worship. Our church family worships and learns together. Families with young children are invited to sit in our Children's Corner where there is a soft space and materials for little ones to explore and learn with during the service. We also have worship boxes that kids can take to their pews.
Kids can also serve during worship: carrying the Cross, processing with the Gospel book, reading a lesson, handing out bulletins and passing the collection plates, serving at the altar. Sunday School: Godly Play
Twice a month children ages 4-11 gather after worship for a time of story, faith, wondering, and creativity. Godly Play meets in the downstairs of the Church at 11:15 am.
Eucharist Instruction Class
This class is offered for children in Grade 2 during Easter season to learn more about the sacrament of Holy Communion. It's another step in their Christian education and spiritual development.

Adults
Bible Study meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10:15am on Zoom.
This is a lively ecumenical discussion group. We welcome your questions, your wonderings, your laughter, and your prayers. Anyone who wants to learn more about Jesus or the Bible is welcome - no previous Bible study experience needed! Come and learn more about your faith. Email Mother Vicki for the Zoom link. Confirmation ClassConfirmation classes are an opportunity for youth and adults to learn and explore more about the Christian faith, ask questions, and make a faith commitment for themselves. Confirmation by our diocesan Bishop Carlye Hughes takes place in the spring.
Classes for those who wish to explore being formally received into the Episcopal Church from another Christian tradition will be arranged as needed. For more information, please email Mother Vicki. A Prayer for Young People
God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ~ Book of Common Prayer |
