Our Clergy, Staff & Lay Leaders
Our ClergyThe Rev. Victoria Geer McGrath, RectorOur rector has been at All Saints’ since 2002. Vicki is originally from New York State. There she was involved in Girl Scouts, church choir, camping and musical theater. She attended Wells College as an undergraduate where she majored in Medieval Studies. After graduation she moved to New York City and sang with ensembles that specialized in varieties of musical genres, including Gilbert and Sullivan, Early Music, and sacred music. Vicki has a master’s degree in Historical Musicology from Columbia University. Before going to seminary, Vicki and her family spent two and a half years in Japan. Her theological training was at Drew Theological School. Vicki is married to John and they have two grown children, Jack and Meg. Her hobbies include reading, knitting, singing, family history and spending time at the beach in Rhode Island.
Why did I become a priest? "My relationship with God has always been central to who I am. I felt called to ordained ministry when I was 16, but it took me a good number of years and a variety of experiences before I was ready to answer that call. As a priest it is a privilege and a joy to accompany people on their spiritual journey and their walk with Jesus. I find that God has a wonderful sense of humor and I believe that laughter is a spiritual gift!" Mother Vicki may be reached at [email protected] Our StaffAlison Siener Brown, Director of MusicAlison holds a Masters of Music in Sacred Music and Organ Performance from Northwestern University, and an undergraduate degree in Sacred Music and organ from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. As a student at Westminster, Alison was a member of the Westminster Concert Bell Choir, and directed the choir in an episode of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.
Alison joined All Saints' as Music Director in March 2014 and went to work right away getting us to sing the psalms (in several different ways), increase our use of handbells, brought in djembe and other percussion instruments, and makes use of both piano and organ.
