Our Clergy, Staff & Lay Leaders
The Rev. Victoria Geer McGrath, Rector
Our rector has been at All Saints’ since 2002. Vicki is originally from New York State. There she was involved in Girl Scouts, church choir, camping and musical theater. She attended Wells College as an undergraduate where she majored in Medieval Studies. After graduation she moved to New York City and sang with ensembles that specialized in varieties of musical genres, including Gilbert and Sullivan, Early Music, and sacred music. Vicki has a master’s degree in Historical Musicology from Columbia University. Before going to seminary, Vicki and her family spent two and a half years in Japan. Her theological training was at Drew Theological School. Vicki is married to John and they have two grown children, Jack and Meg. Her hobbies include reading, knitting, singing, family history and spending time at the beach in Rhode Island.
Why did I become a priest? "My relationship with God has always been central to who I am. I felt called to ordained ministry when I was 16, but it took me a good number of years and a variety of experiences before I was ready to answer that call. As a priest it is a privilege and a joy to accompany people on their spiritual journey and their walk with Jesus. I find that God has a wonderful sense of humor and I believe that laughter is a spiritual gift!"
