Adults Growing in Faith
Bible Study meets for learning and faith-sharing, asking how the Bible applies to our daily lives. The group is for "newbies" and old hands; we learn from each others' questions and experiences. Use one of our Bibles, or bring your own - along with your curiosity and sense of humor! Bible Study meets Wednesdays, 10:15 -11:30 am in the Rath House (behind the Church).
In the fall of 2017 we are reading through First Corinthians.
The Pilgrim discussion group meets on Mondays at 7 pm in the Rath House. This is a series for those who would like to learn more about the Christian faith and following Jesus. The new 6-week series beginning on Nov. 6, 2017 with the topic of The Eucharist. Please email us if you'd like to participate and receive the discussion book.
From the Pilgrim website:
Welcome to this course of exploration into the truth of the Christian
faith as it has been revealed in Jesus Christ and lived out in his Church
down through the centuries.
The aim of this course is to help people explore what it means to
become disciples of Jesus Christ. From the very beginning of his
ministry, Jesus called people to follow him and become his disciples.
The Church in every generation shares in the task of helping others
hear Christ’s call to them and follow him.
We hope the course will help you to understand this faith and to see
how it can be lived out each day, and that it will equip you to grow more as a follower of Jesus. You can watch a short video here.
